ANNOUNCING 2020 SUMMER TRACK CAMP WITH CAMPBELL UNIVERSITY
TEILG is pleased to announce that we will be working with Campbell University and their staff at this years 2020 Campbell University Track and Field camp. This camp will include all events except distance (400m and below).
- Field Events: Throws, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump and Pole Vault
- Running Events: Hurdles and Sprints (400m and under)
Division 1 coaches from universities in North Carolina will be training with all participants. Including Campbell’s coaching staff, TJ Harris, Virgil Givens, Shannon Ennis and varsity athletes. We are pleased to announce we will have head coach Jeff Klaves from UNC- Wilmington and additional coaches from UNC Greensboro, ECU and Western Carolina University.
Shannon Ennis, assistant coach at Campbell University, is a FSU alum and NCAA All-American. She is a three time ACC Champion, 7 time ACC top three finisher, and held 5 FSU throw records upon graduation. She is USATF level I and II certified in the throws. Her athletes rank in the top 5 in the state of North Carolina High School sports for both men’s and women’s shot put, discus, and javelin.
Jeff Klaves, head coach UNC-Wilmington, is a Campbell alum and NCAA Academic All-American. Coach Klaves has recently claimed his first conference champion in the women’s discus. His recruiting class for this year was ranked as one of the top in the country. He is USATF level I and II certified in the throws.
